Vintage Kashan-Style Elegance, Perfectly Preserved

The 1970s was a quietly great decade for hand-knotted rugs. Tight knots, good wool, careful color work, and they're now hitting the sweet spot of old enough to have patina, new enough to still be doing real work on the floor.

A creamy ivory field carries an elegant central floral medallion in soft red and navy, with curvilinear vine work running through the borders. Hand-knotted from premium wool that catches afternoon light differently than newer rugs do.
